damn. this last sunday was terrifying. while me and my friends tina, lina, and austin were in the woodshop, some fifth year architecture student chopped off her middle finger from her left hand while working the most dangerous tool in the shop: THE TABLE SAW *dun dun dun DUN*. OMG, that damn tool has always frightened all of us...now, we have even more reason to fear it. It was horrible... so much different than watching it in the movies. This was real. I didn't seeee it happen thank gawd. I was merely someone in the woodshop when it happened. But gawd, there was blood everywhere and she was seriously in shock. Well.. i would be too. In fact, I was going through shock along with her and everybody else. Nobody knew what to do except call DPS and 911. Ugh. The poor girl..she was kind of asking for it however... only because she was trying to cut a small piece of wood...INCORRECTLY i might add. Fudge. If only she knew better....things would still be the same.. and attached. *cringes*. I'm not sure if they had to amputate..for the finger part was still hanging off just by the top layer of skin.. but SHATE. Such drama. Too much. I vow to never go near that table saw again. I'm so BloOdy serious. ew.. bad pun. Not as bad as the one i made after it happened, "Anyone for lunch? Perhaps some finger food?" ugh. i'm evil.
Oh, some good news. My archies in my seetion were treated to a nice Korean BBQ dinner arranged by our teacher Susanna tonight. It was very delicious, memorable, and of course... fun. Good times had for once OUTSIDE architecture. I love my friends. Oh yes.... these next couple of days/weeks are to be hellish.. wish me luck. I shall hermit inside the studio for hours at a time. yay.
